29 Born-Again Christians Return WAEC Certificates For Cheating.

Twenty-nine born again Christians have returned their certificates to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for engaging in examination malpractice when they sat for the exams. . 
. 
The examination body in a statement released after its 62nd National Examination Committee meeting recently, said that among the 29 certificates that were returned by the born again Christians, includes one that was issued 33 years ago (1984) and another one that was issued 32 years ago (1985). . 
. 
A breakdown showed that four certificates each were returned by born again Christians who on their own confessed that they cheated while sitting for their exams between 2011 and 2013. . 
. 
Others include three that sat for the examinations in 2000, 2004, 2008, two each in 1992 and 2003 while one certificate each was returned by born again Christians who sat for the examination in 1984, 1985, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2012.  - #regrann

How to increase Your Faith – Kenneth E. Hagin

Teaching on the subject of faith, it is important 
to show people from the Scriptures that God has 
not blessed one person with more faith than He 
has blessed someone else. Folks often see 
someone prospering according to the Word, 
whether in his health, his finances, his family, and 
so forth, and they get the mistaken impression 
that God must have given that person more faith. 
So the first thing I want you to know is this: 
Every believer has been given a measure—the 
same measure—of the God-kind of faith. 
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and 
that not of yourselves: IT IS THE GIFT OF 
GOD. Ephesians 2:8 
According as GOD HATH DEALT TO EVERY 
MAN the measure of faith. Romans 12:3 
So we know that faith comes from God. It is the 
“gift of God.” But He has given it to every 
believer. He has given to every believer the 
measure, or the same measure, of faith. 
Notice also that God has done it ( Rom. 12:3 ); it’s 
not something that He is going to do. We’re not 
trying to get faith. We’re not praying for it. We 
have it. Every believer already has a measure of 
the God-kind of faith. You see, God gets 
everyone started off the same way. He doesn’t 
give one person more faith than He gives 
another. He gives to every man the measure of 
faith. Then your faith grows according to what 
you do with it. 
A lot of people have done with their faith what 
the fellow in the Bible did with his one talent (see 
Matthew 25:25 ). They’ve just wrapped their faith 
up in a napkin, so to speak, and hid it. They 
haven’t used it at all. 
It’s up to you what you do with the measure of 
faith God has given you. So the second thing I 
want you to know is this: This measure of faith 
can be increased. But you’re the one who 
increases it, not God. Certainly God furnishes the 
means whereby faith can be increased. But you 
increase your faith by doing two things: feeding it 
on the Word of God and exercising it—or putting it 
into practice. The Bible very often uses natural 
human terms to teach spiritual thoughts. For 
example, this is how Jesus taught in His earthly 
ministry, as we can read in the Gospels. 
…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by 
every word that proceeds out of the mouth 
of God. Matthew 4:4 
Jesus is using a natural human idea to convey a 
spiritual thought. He’s saying to us that what 
bread (or food) is to the body, the Word of God is 
to the spirit, or the heart, of man. You know that 
if you eat food regularly, it will build you up 
physically. Yet if you eat right but don’t exercise, 
all you’ll do is get flabby and out of shape. In 
much the same way, you need to feed your faith 
on God’s Word. But you also need to exercise your 
faith, because if you don’t, your faith muscles will 
be flabby. They won’t be able to do much 
spiritually when it comes to moving mountains in 
your life. 
You can feed your spirit on God’s Word and 
thereby feed your faith, because God’s Word is 
faith food. But you also need to exercise your 
faith to develop it and cause it to grow. In 
Romans 10:8 , Paul called the message he 
preached the word of faith. He called the Word of 
God the word of faith, because the Word will 
cause faith to come into your heart ( Rom. 10:17 ). 
God’s Word will build assurance, confidence, and 
faith in your heart. Then you’re to exercise that 
faith. 
So we know that the measure of faith we’ve 
received can be increased by doing two things: by 
feeding it on God’s Word and by putting it into 
practice (or exercising it) in everyday living. One 
person said, “You either have faith or you don’t.” 
In one sense, that’s true. You’re either a believer 
or a non-believer. But in another sense when 
people say that, they are implying that every 
believer has faith in every respect the same as 
another believer. But that’s not true. One 
person’s faith may not be the same as another 
person’s faith. There can be a measurable 
difference! You see, the Word of God tells us that 
our faith can grow. Therefore, one person’s faith 
may not be as developed or as strong as another 
person’s faith. 
Remember, it’s up to you what you do with the 
measure of faith God has given you. For example, 
you can cause your faith to grow. You can feed 
and exercise it so when the storms of life come, 
you will have strong faith. But another person 
may not do anything with his faith. The person 
who does nothing with his faith will have weak 
faith. Second Thessalonians 1:3 says, “We are 
bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it 
is meet, because that your FAITH GROWETH 
EXCEEDINGLY. . . .” God is saying that faith can 
grow. Well, since faith can grow, it can be either 
strong or weak—developed or undeveloped. 
Let’s look at several other 
statements Jesus made about faith. 
If then God so clothe the grass, which is 
today in the field, and to morrow is cast into 
the oven; how much more will he clothe you, 
O YE OF LITTLE FAITH? Luke 12:28 
And Peter answered [Jesus] and said, Lord, if 
it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the 
water. 29 And he said, Come. And when 
Peter was come down out of the ship, he 
walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But 
when he saw the wind boisterous, he was 
afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, 
saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately 
Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught 
him, and said unto him, O THOU OF LITTLE 
FAITH, wherefore didst thou doubt? Matthew 
14:28–31 
In these passages of Scripture, Jesus is speaking 
about little, or small, faith. In Matthew 14:31 , 
Jesus asked Peter, “O you of little faith, why did 
you doubt?” In Matthew chapter 8, Jesus 
commended the faith of the centurion who came 
to Him on behalf of his servant. Jesus said the 
centurion had great faith. 
5 And when Jesus was entered into 
Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, 
beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my 
servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, 
grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto 
him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion 
answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy 
that thou shouldest come under my roof: but 
speak the word only, and my servant shall be 
healed.… 10 When Jesus heard it, he 
marveled, and said to them that followed, 
Verily I say unto you, I have not found so 
great faith, no, not in Israel…. 13 And Jesus 
said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as 
thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. 
And his servant was healed in the selfsame 
hour. Matthew 8:5–8 , 10 , 13 
Jesus said to the disciples about the centurion, 
“…I have not found so great faith, no, not in 
Israel” (v. 10). So in these passages we’ve read, 
Jesus told one man that he had great faith and 
told another man that he had little faith. Romans 
4:19 speaks of weak faith. 
And being not WEAK IN FAITH, he [Abraham] 
considered not his own body now dead, when 
he was about an hundred years old, neither 
yet the deadness of Sara’s womb. Romans 
4:19 
The very next verse speaks of strong faith. 
He staggered not at the promise of God 
through unbelief; but was STRONG IN FAITH, 
giving glory to God. Romans 4:20 
From these verses, we can conclude that faith can 
either be weak or strong. I am proving to you 
through Scripture that faith is measurable—that it 
can grow. We already mentioned that the Bible 
talks about growing faith ( 2 Thessalonians 1:3 ). 
Acts 6:5 says Stephen was full of faith. James 
2:5 mentions rich faith. James 2:22 speaks of a 
perfect faith. First Timothy 1:5 speaks of 
unfeigned faith, or faith that is genuine and 
sincere. First Timothy 1:19 speaks of shipwrecked 
faith and of holding on to faith and to a good 
conscience. And First John 5:4 speaks of 
overcoming faith. 
The Bible says, “In the mouth of two or three 
witnesses shall every word be established” ( Matt. 
18:16 ). I just gave you more than 10 witnesses! 
And all of these verses will prove to you that 
faith is measurable. 
We know that the measure of faith given to every 
believer can grow. Your faith can be 
strengthened by feeding it on the Word of God 
and by exercising it or putting it into practice. F. 
F. Bosworth said, “Most Christians feed their body 
three hot meals a day and their spirit one cold 
snack a week. And they wonder why they’re so 
weak in faith.” Well, physically speaking, if you 
just ate one cold snack a week, you would grow 
weak physically! But the same is true spiritually. 
God’s Word is faith food, and if we want our faith 
to grow, we must feed it more than once a week! 
If you want your faith to grow, you have to start 
where you are. No one climbs a ladder starting on 
the top rung. You’ve got to start on the bottom 
rung and climb up if you’re going to reach the top. 
That’s the thing that defeats a lot of well-meaning 
Christians—they try to believe beyond their faith. 
Remember, just because someone has fed more on 
God’s Word and has exercised his faith is not a 
sign that God have him more faith than He gave 
someone else. No, the person who fed on the 
Word and exercised his faith had the same 
measure of faith to begin with as the others had. 
But he fed his faith and exercised it, and his faith 
grew strong! As a result he could believe God for 
more. 
So keep a positive attitude about your own faith. 
Recognize that you have faith and that you can 
cause it to grow. Feed your faith and exercise it 
right where you are in your Christian walk. Then 
your faith can grow and move mountains!

Bible verse: Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a 
son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and 
his name shall be called 
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, 
The Prince of Peace.” 
Every child of God is born to be a wonder to the world. 
According to John 3:8, everyone born of the spirit is born a 
living wonder. Mark 16:17-18 says” And these signs shall follow 
them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they 
shall speak with new tongues;They shall take up serpents; and if 
they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay 
hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” 
By divine ordination, every child of God is born a sign and 
wonder by divine ordination. Isaiah 8: 18 says “ Behold, I and the 
children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for 
wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in 
mount Zion”. 
Even though we know who we are, we need to know how to 
operate in that realm. What do you need to do to be a sign and 
wonder.? 
Exodus 4:17 says “And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, 
wherewith thou shalt do signs” and Isaiah 11:1 says “And there 
shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch 
shall grow out of his roots:And the spirit of the LORD shall rest 
upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of 
counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the 
LORD” Combinning these two verses, it is clear that to be a sign 
and wonder you need to carry Jesus every where you go. The 
name of Jesus is so full of wonders and engaging that name 
‘Jesus’ is one way to evoke signs and wonders to flow in our 
life. 
In Acts 3: 6 Peter had no money to give the lame man but with 
the name of Jesus he was able to do wonders and the lame man 
got up and began to walk. The name of Jesus can bring anybody 
out from issues of life. 
You need to know how to engage the name of Jesus to see 
wonders in your life. There is healing, protection, blessing in the 
name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is key to answered prayers, 
when you pray to God in the name of Jesus,you grab God’s 
attention. The name of Jesus opens the doors of heaven ( John 
14:12) The name of Jesus is anointed, the name of Jesus 
destroys yokes, demons are subjected to the name. When you 
engage that name against the operation, the anointing goes 
forth to fight on your behalf.The name of Jesus guarantees 
peace in troubled times. There is counsel in that name so when 
your soul is troubled, call upon the name of Jesus. The bible 
calls Him the Prince of peace. 
With the name of Jesus in your hand, a new day dawns on your 
life. With faith in the name of Jesus, there is a change of story 
for you! The bible says in that the signs will follow those that 
believe, the name puts you in command of every situation in your 
life. When we engage the name of Jesus n faith, miracles, signs 
and wonders will follow. 
The depth of understanding you have in the name of Jesus will 
determine the result you get when you make use of the name. 
Your spiritual understanding of the name of Jesus is key to 
experiencing your signs and wonders, the name of Jesus is full 
of wonders 
Christianity without the supernatural is fake religion, if the 
supernatural is not happening around you then you are not 
experiencing true Christianity. By engaging the name of God, you 
experience the supernatural things, you start to get things . The 
name of Jesus is a gift from God to the believer, the name of 
Jesus is the key to every door, you can use the name of Jesus 
to cross your red sea and overcome your problems. 
Prayer Point: Jesus touch me tonight, give me an answer 
tonight! Go ahead and engage the name Jesus against that 
challenge in your life!!!!

Is it good for a Christian to eat Salah Meat? By Isaac Femi

Well let's read this Bible Verses below. 
1 Co 8:4-13 
4 So now, what about it? Should we eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god, and that there is only one God, and no other. 5 According to some people, there are a great many gods, both in heaven and on earth. 6 But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created all things and made us to be his own; and one Lord Jesus Christ, who made everything and gives us life.
7 However, some Christians don’t realize this. All their lives they have been used to thinking of idols as alive, and have believed that food offered to the idols is really being offered to actual gods. So when they eat such food it bothers them and hurts their tender consciences. 8 Just remember that God doesn’t care whether we eat it or not. We are no worse off if we don’t eat it, and no better off if we do. 9 But be careful not to use your freedom to eat it, lest you cause some Christian brother to sin whose conscience is weaker than yours.
10 You see, this is what may happen: Someone who thinks it is wrong to eat this food will see you eating at a temple restaurant, for you know there is no harm in it. Then he will become bold enough to do it too, although all the time he still feels it is wrong.11 So because you “know it is all right to do it,” you will be responsible for causing great spiritual damage to a brother with a tender conscience for whom Christ died. 12 And it is a sin against Christ to sin against your brother by encouraging him to do something he thinks is wrong. 13 So if eating meat offered to idols is going to make my brother sin, I’ll not eat any of it as long as I live because I don’t want to do this to him.
The Bible also says in Matthew 5:30 And if your hand--even your stronger hand--causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell
My thought : its better not to eat things offered to the idol, but above all let your conscience lead you. May God help us.

95-year-old Indian man enrolls for a Masters degree...

95-year-old Raj Kumar Vaishya's lifelong dream of obtaining a post-graduate degree is set to be realized. He enrolled for MA in Economics at the Nalanda Open University on September 8 for the 2015-16 session.
<blockquote>"I am nearer to fulfilling my long cherished dream of a postgraduate degree in economics. My aim is not to get a degree; the thrust is to study and gain knowledge of economics so as to understand the problems facedby the people and the country and to contribute something, if possible," says Vaishya.

The widower who can still read without spectacles and lives with one of his sons and daughter-in-law in Rajendra Nagar colony, says he wished to study economics also to understand why the country had failed to solve problems like poverty, illiteracy and joblessness.
His son Santosh Kumar, now in his early 70s, retired from the National Institute of Technology, Patna, whereas daughter-in-law Bharti S. Kumar, in her early 60s, retired as a professor from Patna University.
<blockquote>"Initially, they told me studying is not an easy task at this age, but later agreed to support me in view of my commitment. My son will teach me mathematics and statistics and the daughter-in-law will pitch in with other help," Vaishya said. "I have decided to devote two hours daily in the morning and night hours to studies. After post-graduation, I will not pursue a PhD," he said.

NOU Registrar S.P. Sinha said it was a pleasant experience for university officials when told about Vaishya’s keenness to join the postgraduate course. "When we came to know that he can read and write fluently as well, it was decided to send a team of NOU officials to his apartment to enrol him in view of his old age. We enrolled him on September 8 for the 2015-16 session and provided the study material in Hindi. However, he demanded the study material and books in English; we will provide these to him soon," Sinha revealed.
Born on April 1, 1920, in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly town, Vaishya did his graduation from Agra University in 1938 and got a degree in law in 1940. He said he failed to do post-graduation then due to increasing family responsibilities.
The 95-year-old reads books, newspapers, and magazines and is a fan of of TV serials like “Jodha Akbar” and “Razia Sultan” He can write fluently in Hindi and English with a steady hand. He however uses a walker after fracturing his leg some years ago. "Otherwise, I am healthy," said Vaishya.
He revealed that his secret to a long life was simple living and leaving everything else to God. "I accept everything as it happens. Today tension kills more than anything else. People, particularly the young, should learn to live without stress." A vegetarian and a lover of simple traditional Indian food, he said he never consumed fried food and always ate less than he needed. "Overeating kills more people than starvation" he added.
