Throwbacktuesday# fried rice. 
Recipe. 
Rice, parboiled, till almost done but firm 
Carrot, chopped 
Onions 
Garlic
 Ginger 
Green pepper 
Fresh pepper ( for spice)
Peas
Spring onions
Runner bean(optional)
Salt
Season of choice 
Curry powder for flavour
Tumeric powder for colour
Thyme
Basil
Oil, Lil oil.

In a hot pan, add oil. Add onions and fry till soft. Add a pinch of salt to the onions,it brings out the flavour. I normally use white onions, it's very flavourful. 
Add garlic and fry a bit. Add carrot, green pepper, fresh pepper runner beans and fry a bit. Keep stirring pls.
Add curry, tumeric and thyme and basil and stir. 
Add the rice and stir well. Cover to allow the flavour infuse into the rice say abt 3 mins. 
Open add season, peas, spring onions. Stir, now add salt and taste.
Let it cook for at least 3 to 5 min and u r done.
